F & P wholesale pledges support for Whizz-Kidz

This year alone, F & P is planning a series of fundraising events from 5-a-side football matches, participation in the Great North Run and Edinburgh Half Marathon, plus a Directors’ ‘back-to-the-floor’ day. This will see Directors being sponsored by suppliers to spend a day working in one of F & P’s 11 branches around the country under the watchful eyes of the branch managers.

Whizz-Kidz helps kids to be kids; by providing powered and manual wheelchairs, skills training, and fun clubs to young disabled people – meaning everyone can lead active, independent and fun lives.

Mark Earnshaw, managing director, says: “According to statistics, there are an estimated 70,000 disabled young people currently waiting for the right wheelchairs for them in the UK. By raising as much money as we possibly can during the course of the year, we hope to be able to make a real contribution toward helping Whizz-Kidz get the right equipment to the right children as quickly as possible.”
