Exclusive: Crescent sees double gold

Independent builders merchant Crescent Building Supplies welcomed a celebrity to its Ruislip branch this morning (October 17) – Paralympic double gold medallist Natasha Baker.

Exclusive: Crescent sees double gold

Crescent has sponsored the dressage star for some years; managing director Les White is a personal friend of Baker and her family.

Baker came in to show off the medals she and her horse Cabral (nick-name JP) won at the London 2012 Paralympic Games and to thank the team for their support.

“Every little bit of support and sponsorship really does help,” she said. “Whether it’s product support like a new bridle or horse feed or riding kit and horse rugs or building materials for the new stables, it frees up money that can be spent on other things like the horseboxes.”

Baker’s next target is the European Championships, followed by the World Championships in two years’ time and the Paralympic games in Rio in 2016.
