Environment Minister to speak at BMA conference

Environment Minister Phil Woolas has been confirmed as the latest speaker for the 2008 Bathroom Conference.

The event is organised by the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA). Chief executive Yvonne Orgill said: “We’re delighted that Mr Woolas has agreed to address the bathroom industry. It demonstrates that not only is he a supporter of the Water Efficient Product Labelling Scheme but that he recognises the efforts of our industry to be more environmentally aware.”

Entitled ‘Sustainable Solutions – Awareness, Engagement & Action’, the conference takes place on October 14 at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel, Warwickshire. Other confirmed speakers include designer Wayne Hemingway MBE and Peter Braithwaite, a director of the environmental consultancy Arup.
