The event is organised by the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA). Chief executive Yvonne Orgill said: “We’re delighted that Mr Woolas has agreed to address the bathroom industry. It demonstrates that not only is he a supporter of the Water Efficient Product Labelling Scheme but that he recognises the efforts of our industry to be more environmentally aware.”

Entitled ‘Sustainable Solutions – Awareness, Engagement & Action’, the conference takes place on October 14 at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel, Warwickshire. Other confirmed speakers include designer Wayne Hemingway MBE and Peter Braithwaite, a director of the environmental consultancy Arup.
