Dunlop Adhesives used the recent NMBS exhibition, held earlier this month in Telford, to showcase one of its newest products, Standard Set Plus, launched in January this year.
The floor and wall tile adhesive was launched in response to the increasing popularity of large format wall tiles (over 300mm x 300mm) and tiles made from porcelain and natural stone.
Standard Set Plus allows up to 30 minutes for tiles to be adjusted or repositioned, longer, than other flexible adhesives say the company. It is suitable for use on both walls and floors both internally and externally, meaning merchants need only buy, and stock, one product rather than several.
Also on stand at the show was the company’s anti-mould range. Consisting of grouts and sealants containing antibacterial agent Microban, the ideal for use in kitchens or in bathrooms.
Finally Dunlop Adhesives used the event as an opportunity to promote marketing initiatives such as the Dunlop Sporting Year.
Designed to help merchants boost sales, this promotion builds on the strong association between the Dunlop brand and sport. To incentivise people towards Dunlop Adhesive products, it offers end-users the chance to win free tickets to major sporting events throughout 2008, including the Italian Grand Prix in Monza in September.
