As a thank you for generating the most entrants to the Sporting Year promotion in Essex, Dunlop Adhesives have awarded £250 of sporting goods vouchers to World of Tiles in Dagenham, Essex.

The manufacturers of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products, have been running the Sporting Year promotion to draw users to their range by capitalising on the strong association between the Dunlop brand and sport. Each year, it offers people the chance to win tickets to some of the most prestigious events in the sporting calendar.

In 2008, the prizes on offer included tickets to the Grand National, the chance to watch a premiership football match, the opportunity to see England take on South Africa at Lords and a trip to watch the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.

In 2009, the first prize is a VIP trip to Wimbledon.

Debi Bailey, brand manager at Dunlop Adhesives, said: “Because Dunlop Adhesives doesn’t sell direct to the end-user, we view the companies that carry our range as partners in our success. That’s why we go out of our way to support them and to offer them added value – whether that’s through the provision of eye-catching Point of Sale materials, sales tools such as grout selector boards or specialist product training.”
