The Ideal Bathrooms Directory, launched in May 2006 has been a remarkable success story, say Ideal Bathrooms, with 750 customers now using the Directory.

The company’s figures show that directory showrooms have seen overall sales increase by 21%. And, since introducing the directory as part of their marketing support, Ideal Bathrooms have seen a marked increase in furniture sales – now one in 10 suites is sold with furniture, and some manufacturers’ product sales have increased by as much as 30% since being included in the directory.

The directory is a combination of a magazine and a products catalogue and has been specifically designed to make buying a bathroom easier for the consumer by showing a full range of products and designs in an easy to compare way.

It incorporates bathroom products from all the main brands, information, prices and bathroom planning hints, tips and design ideas making it a useful sales aid for retail showrooms.

It is supported by a point of sale package, full technical help and advice with a website on which consumers can search for their nearest Ideal Bathrooms Directory stockist. There have been nearly half a million hits on the website with 8,000 requests from consumers for the directory.

A new edition is now available, containing additional products including Twyfords’ Encore suite, Ideal Standards’ Jasper Morrison and three new brassware ranges from the Life brand.
