Danfoss has launched a new addition of the RTW bi-directional thermostatic radiator valves (TRV) with a built-in sensor. The new RTW offers a cost-effective solution for general domestic heating installations.

The new RTW sensor features Danfoss’ accurate liquid-filled sensor, which reacts quickly to changes in room temperature, and a positive shut-off position. RTW also boasts Danfoss’ flow selectable, bi-directional design, meaning it can be installed horizontally or vertically, in flow or return. This provides a solution to the problem of ‘water hammer’.
The new range is supplied in combi packs, complete with sensor and valve. It comes in a choice of 10mm and 15mm reversible angle versions, and is backed by Danfoss’ 2-year warranty. Other options to the RTW include the RAS-D2, and the RAS-C2, developed by Danfoss to suit both the domestic and contract markets.
