Dale opens window on web portal

Dale Windows has launched a UK wide campaign to change the way that the building trade sources, quotes and supplies its customers with timber windows and doors.

It has created a web portal aimed directly at builders merchants, backed up by a full training and support package, the provision of point of sales materials, promotional literature, sales enquiries and high quality samples.

Builders merchants can now provide instant tailor made quotes to their customers using the web portal based on their specific timber door and window requirements. If the customer is happy with the quote, the order can be processed at the touch of a button, tracked in real time and delivered to a specific address fully finished and glazed ready for installation.

Backing up the system, is Dale’s range of timber windows and doors manufactured from engineered timber and including storm proof and flush fitting casement windows, vertical sliding sash windows and tilt and turn windows alongside its Bi-fold, Patio, French and entrance doors.

Dale’s objectives are to change the way in which timber windows and doors are sold to the trade, by improving the levels of customer service and choice significantly and offering the right combination of value for money, high quality products, according to sales director Jay Pengelly

“We have looked at how the trade has traditionally offered and supplied timber windows and doors to the market and created a completely new approach, at the centre of which is an award winning IT system,” he says.

“The new system offers the merchant total control in terms of instant quoting and ordering which means not having to chase window and door manufacturers for prices, increasing the levels of customer service able to be offered.”
