Dale moves to new headquarters as sales and merchant network grows

Timber window and door manufacturer Dale has moved to new purpose built offices following a successful 2014, which saw the company record growth in sales and merchant customers.
Having enjoyed successful and consistent growth over the last four years as the market for timber windows and doors in the UK has expanded, Dale, which specialises in manufacturing a wide range of made to measure products, saw significant gains in 2014.

In addition to turnover rising by 40%, Dale’s UK-wide merchant customer base increased by 35%. Sales also increased significantly across the year resulting in the decision to move to a new purpose built, eco-friendly head office at Shrivenham Hundred Business Park on the outskirts of Swindon.

“2014 was a really positive year of growth for us and we were delighted not only with our sales and turnover figures but just as importantly the development of our merchant network,” said Richard Chapman, Dale’s sales director.

“The move to new headquarters is a reflection of our growth, the growth in the market and our desire to continue to be a major name in the UK timber window and door industry, with a service to match the quality of our products.”

Despite the move to new headquarters, Dale retains its extensive show home for builders and consumers at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre, just off Junction 16 of the M4 where visitors are able to see the full range of windows and doors (including bi-folds, French and sliding patio, in addition to entrance doors).
