CPS go green with new centre

Plumbers merchants City Plumbing Supplies, part of the Travis Perkins Group, have opened their first renewable energy centre in the UK.
Located in Bournemouth, the centre features working displays and demonstrations of renewable energy sources including solar energy systems, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps and underfloor heating. In-branch advice is available from dedicated members of staff to support the trade in specifying the right product for the job.

Travis Perkins group environment manager Jez Cutler said: “The desire to use eco-friendly building products is huge, both from builders and end-users. However, as with any new technology, the trade needs advice on how to correctly specify and install the product to ensure that targets of lower CO2 emissions and energy bills are achieved. Our Bournemouth team is able to offer expert advice, as well as recommending training if necessary.”
