The event was attended by a crowd of 800-plus who sang carols backed by the Chichester Amateur Operatic Society. Plus, there was fun for the children attending with a visit from Father Christmas and two of his reindeer as well as face painting, a circus workshop and festive cooking demonstration.

The cheque was presented to Father Christmas himself by Covers Chairman, Patrick Green.
