Mick Holmes, of M. Holmes Construction Ltd, has been a regular customer at the Covers Foundry Lane branch for the last four years and was invited to perform the opening ceremony.

The new depot is set over an acre and has a saw mill, loose aggregate bins and a vast warehouse, showroom and trade counter.

Covers commercial director, Henry Green, said: “Mick is one of a large number of loyal and valued customers in the area and we’re pleased he agreed to cut the ribbon at this new facility.

“For the first time in Horsham, we are now able to offer a purpose-built, fully stocked depot for our existing customers and a friendly, welcoming environment for new ones.”
