Countdown begins to find the UK’s Best Heating Installer

Time is running out for installers to enter the 2017 Heating Installer Awards. Created to recognise the efforts of tradespeople who go above and beyond for their customers, the awards will close for entries on the 17 February 2017.

Sponsored by Continental Underfloor, Danfoss, Graham The Plumbers’ Merchant, LG, Pegler Yorkshire, Vaillant UK and Sentinel, the Heating Installer Awards is the hunt to find the UK’s best plumbers and heating installers, who continually demonstrate expert technicality and skill, delivering exceptional customer service, while using the most innovative technology in their installations.

In just a couple of weeks entries will close and sponsors are encouraging people to enter before it’s too late.

The next phase of the competition will see an expert panel of judges select the best heating installers to represent 11 regions across the country. Following the announcement of the regional winners in March, a public vote will decide who will be named the UK’s Number One Heating Installer. The winner will then be announced at the industry’s leading plumbing and heating show, Installer2017, in May 2017 at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.

Last year’s winner, Dennis Hollingworth of Hollingworth Heating, said the awards are a great platform to help grow your business.

He commented: “It’s been a great year for me. From being known as a local businessman, to being announced as the Best UK Heating Installer 2016; it’s surreal really. I’ve seen a real spike in new business enquiries since I won.

“I’d definitely encourage other installers to get their applications in for the Heating Installer Awards, as it’s a great competition to acknowledge the outstanding work those in our industry carry out every single day. Completing a simple entry form can bring about brilliant things, so do yours now!”

To enter, plumbers and heating installers should visit www.heatinginstallerawards.co.uk and fill in the short form, detailing a project the installer is particularly proud of, or which demonstrates going above and beyond for the customer. There is also the option for homeowners impressed with the outstanding service delivered to nominate an installer. Providing additional information such as images and even video footage of a job well done will help the judges to rate the work carried out. Entries with extra detail and information on how the installation changed the daily lifestyle of a customer will be judged favourably.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on 17th February 2017, and full terms and conditions can be found on the website.
