Cordless impact drivers from Bosch with EC Motors

Bosch has added three new products to its Professional range of cordless impact drivers with Electronically Commutated motors: the GDS 18 V-EC 250 Professional, the GDR 10.8 V-EC Professional, and the GDS 10.8 V-EC Professional.
The new additions offer a third longer between battery charges and up to double the product lifetime. The Bosch Professional impact drivers feature a brushless EC motor, and a compact and lightweight design – making the range suitable for use across a variety of applications.

The GDS 18 V-EC 250 Professional boasts a high torque of 250 newton meters in both forward and reverse rotation. The GDS 18 V-EC 250 impact wrench offers an ideal power-to-weight ratio in its class, making it suitable for automotive applications as well as workers involved in steel, metal and machine construction.

From a single charge the tool is able to drive 175 12 mm screws and is capable of handling screws of up to 16mm diameter. It also features an LED light in the tool’s head.

Ideal for wood or metal work, the GDR 10.8 V-EC Professional and the GDS 10.8 V-EC Professional offer a hex or square bit holder respectively together with high torque of 110 and 115 Nm. From just one charge, 260 4.2 mm softwood screws or 240 8mm metal screws can be driven. Two preset speed settings minimise the risk of overtightening and snapping screws.

The HEX-9 MultiConstruction drill bit offers impact-rated bits suitable for wood, plastic, masonry, tiles and sheet metal. This new bit means that cordless impact drivers can be used for a wider range of jobs. With its sharp diamond-ground cutting edges and carbide centre tip, HEX-9 MultiConstruction offers a long lifetime and precise drilling starts and guidance.
