Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
More than 20,000 elite athletes, celebs, club runners, and fundraisers took part in the 25th Great South Run at Southsea on October 25th 2015.
Among them were 6 members of staff from Coomers at Bordon and Oakhanger, running 10 miles in aid of GUTS – the local bowel cancer charity.
Donations are still coming in, but Coomers estimate the final total raised for GUTS from this run will be approximately £1,300, and are still accepting donations in store and online.
Martin Lillywhite, Tim Knight, Steve Armstrong, Louise Beaven, Stuart Knight, and Shane Taylor were among the Coomers staff who took part.
Coomers has been fundraising for GUTS throughout 2015, and is grateful to everyone who has sponsored their runners. They hope to raise over £3,500 for GUTS by the end of the year.
