Connaught housing firm in MP probe

Troubled social housing specialist Connaught is the subject of an investigation by an MP who is collecting complaints about the firm.
Connaught has already lost a number of contracts with councils and housing firms in the wake of financial troubles. Builders merchants including Travis Perkins and Jewson have been suppliers to the firm.

Norwich South MP Simon Wright is considering plans to talk to other councils who use Connaught following a string of complaints from residents in his constituency.

Norwich City Council switched eight key public service contracts worth £250m over ten years to Connaught in May.
