Carl Kammerling International, the hand tools and security solutions suppliers, have launched Productwise – a web-based product training tool

This is designed to help counter staff increase their knowledge of Carl Kammerling’s products and sell the range more effectively.

This free and easy to use on-line resource, available at www.productwise.co.uk, offers a round-the-clock, one-stop shop of information for customers and their staff to access at a time convenient to them, fitting in and around peak trading times. Users can dip in and out for specific queries or dedicate time to learning in detail about the C.K tools, Kasp and Avit ranges under the Carl Kammerling umbrella.

Productwise features a range of modules from handsaws and padlocks to tape measures and tool systems, all of which provide in-depth details of the ranges, including the history and development of tools, product features and benefits, information on how products are created and details of the various products within each range.

At the end of each module users can choose to undertake a short assessment to help consolidate what they have learnt. On completion of the quick-fire multiple-choice questions, those who achieve a pass rate of over 80% are awarded a certificate in recognition of their efforts.

Created to support customers with simple and effective training, Productwise will help to increase product knowledge, sharpen selling techniques and improve confidence amongst staff to ultimately encourage additional sales.
