City Plumbing Supplies customer Derek Gray, of Hi-Tech Heating, has triumphed to win a challenging 18-hole golf tournament at the TPC Golf Club in Las Vegas.

Derek played against 22 other heating and plumbing professional qualifiers, including 2015 champion Jack Jordan who was defending his title, in a tense play-off to win with a total of 34 points.

As well as playing to take home the coveted Claret Jug trophy, Derek and the other golfing finalists also helped to raise £11,000 for the City Plumbing Supplies official charity – Teenage Cancer Trust.

John Frost, Managing Director of City Plumbing Supplies, said: “A fantastic time was had by all and a great deal of skill and determination was witnessed out on the course too, which made the play even better. Not only this, it was a great opportunity to connect with our customers and raise money for such a worthwhile charity as Teenage Cancer Trust.”
