The Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group is holding a conference next month designed to help construction marketers and companies come through the downturn in good shape, and be ready for the upturn.
Held at the The Building Centre, London on February 11, 2009, the conference includes such speakers as Peter Wooliscroft, Chair of the Construction Clients’ Group, Simon Rubinsohn, Chief Economist at RICS, and Allan Wilen, Head of Economics at Glenigan who will look at the economic situation, present and future, and show why marketing right through the recession is essential and desirable.
With reference to previous downturns, speakers will discuss strategic options for positioning companies for survival, and prosperity when the upturn comes.
And, as well as an ROI masterclass, a guide to export opportunities, and a look at what role sustainability should play in any marketing plan now, there’s a bluffer’s guide to budget meetings – ten things that companies should cut before they dig in to the marketing budgets.
