Sussex-based independent Chandlers Building Supplies has developed a new Sustainable Building Solutions training centre at its Lewes branch.
The training centre will be used to educate staff, as well as offer practical training to local developers and builders with CPD events for architects.
Over the last year Chandlers has made a commitment to the development and supply of a sustainable product range with the focus on delivering water efficiency and sustainable building solutions, targeted at both trade and consumer customers. These include:

Phil Barnard, Chandler’s Technical Specification Manager who heads up the development of Sustainable Building Solutions said: “As environmental issues become more important to consumers, the industry has had to take note.
“Our new training facility will enable us to ensure that all our staff are familiar with our sustainable building products and are able to pass on their expertise to our customers. The training centre is also available to those in the industry, making sure that they are fully informed about new products coming into this growing market.”
