Chandlers helps retired greyhounds with new barn

Sussex independent builders merchant Chandlers Building Supplies has helped, the Brighton & Hove Retired Greyhound Trust to repair its barn at the kennels in Albourne.

Chandlers donated the timber and supplied the remainder of the materials at cost price.

Working alongside the national Retired Greyhound Trust, the Brighton & Hove branch is an independent charity working to ensure that as many greyhounds as possible have a happy retirement.

Nigel Williams, sales manager, at the Ringmer Branch of Chandlers, said: “Supporting our local community is extremely important to Chandlers and we were delighted to be able to supply the material to the charity.”
