Chandlers goes silent for charity auction

Independent builders merchant Chandlers Building Supplies has launched an online silent auction for charity.
The company wants to raise £50,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and has set the Chandlers £50k Challenge to help reach its target.

With a number of different prizes on offer, including a Manchester Utd package, the chance to become a character in best selling author Peter James’ next novel, an iPod Touch and Goodwood Revival tickets, there is something on offer to suit everyone.

Additional lots will be added throughout the year, as well as a few one-day auctions that will be run on Chandlers Facebook and Twitter pages.

The Chandlers £50k Challenge is aiming to raise £50,000 in honour of Chandlers’ employee Rob Sadler, a Cystic Fibrosis sufferer himself.

Richard Skinner, commercial director at Chandlers, said: “We have some fantastic prizes on offer, which would all make great presents or a treat for yourself! One hundred percent of the money paid for each item will go towards our Chandlers £50k Challenge. We hope that the local community will support the auction and help us to reach our target.”

Those wishing to find out more information about the prizes available, or to make a bid, can head to the Chandlers £50k Challenge page on the Chandlers website, www.chandlersbs.co.uk.
