Builders merchant Chandlers Building Supplies has appointed former Grafton director Sue Knight as a non-executive director.
Knight has over 27 years of experience in the construction industry and began her career as a management trainee at Jackson Building Centres, rising through the company to become managing director in 2002 and subsequently lightside purchasing director at Grafton Merchanting GB.
Since leaving Grafton, Knight has been completing an MBA at Warwick Business School and was appointed as a non-executive director for Aqualisa Products Limited in April 2013.
Knight said: “Chandlers Building Supplies is a company that has grown considerably in the last 10 years and I’m delighted to have been chosen to serve on the board where I look forward to contributing to their continued success.”
