Kevin Murch, CEMEX UKpayroll and HR systems manager carried the Olympic flame on the 45th day of the Olympic Torch relay.

He has worked for CEMEX for 35 years and was nominated as a torch bearer by his daughter, Kerry.

He has been a member and coach of the Rugby and Northampton Athletics Club for over 30 years and is a keen javelin thrower having achieved a British Masters Record in the M50 age group.

In the coming days Murch will be taking the torch into the CEMEX Office for friends and colleagues to have their photograph taken with it, for a contribution to charity. In addition, he will be taking the torch into three local schools.
