Carl Kammerling International has announced the appointment of Mike Gillett as national sales manager to oversee the UK/Ireland field sales team.
Gillett will directly oversee a sales management team of 3 and indirectly manage a 17 strong field sales team, with overall responsibility for driving growth across 3,500 customer accounts.
He brings with him 35 years of experience in sales, having previously worked for Franke as head of sales, Acorn Engineering and Stearn Electric. During this time, he developed strong relationships with many major UK merchants, acquiring a wealth of sector knowledge and experience that he will now bring to the Carl Kammerling team.
Gillett reports into managing director, Tom Meyerratken, and will play a crucial role in the company’s expansion plans for 2015 and beyond.
