Carl Kammerling celebrates 180 years of loyal service

Carl Kammerling International, supplier of hand tools and security solutions, has held an awards ceremony to mark the dedication and commitment of six of its employees, who have together clocked up a total of 180 years with the company.

The milestones celebrated include 25 years’ service for managing director, Tom Meyerratken and warehouse operatives, Geraint Hughes and Jonathan Griffiths. Emyr Roberts, inventory controller, has been in control of supply for 35 years and both Cathy Williams, export clerk and Valerie Cooper, office services manager have given 40 years of service.

In recognition of their contribution, executive director Arnold Kammerling presented each with an award at a ceremony attended by the recipients and their families.

Arnold Kammerling said: “It is often said that a business is only as good as its employees and it is true that Carl Kammerling International can afford much of its success to a team of hard working, loyal employees. We felt that the commitment shown by Tom, Geraint, Jonathan, Emyr, Cathy and Valerie deserved recognition and held the award ceremony to demonstrate our appreciation of the length of service they have given and to show just how much we value our employees.”

Mmanaging director, Tom Meyerratken said: “I am honoured that Geraint, Jonathan, Emyr, Cathy and Valerie have dedicated their careers to Carl Kammerling International, and I am proud to be amongst the long-serving team and to receive such recognition of my own time with the company.

“The team is the foundation of Carl Kammerling International, which serves to demonstrate why I, and so many others, have remained with the company for so long.”
