Balustrade maker Richard Burbidge has restructured its stair balustrade range to make it easier for merchants and retailers to order, stock, display and sell product.
The new range features over 200 components organised into five comprehensive categories: Heritage, a premium white oak range featuring oversized turned spindles; Classic, a traditional collection of quality spindles and newels; Contemporary, a modern range which includes the flagship FUSION® systems; Trademark, the professional’s choice and the largest range featuring some of the most popular styles; and the entry level Hallmark range of value pine stair parts.
For added simplicity, the stair balustrade range now offers a choice of six popular timbers in a selection of styles: pine, primed, hemlock, sapele, ash and white oak.
Stair Balustrade product manager Zoe Goff says there were two very clear goals – to simplify and balance out the range, and encourage end-users to trade up to higher value balustrade systems.
“The new range hierarchy will make it considerably easier for our merchant and retail customers to display products in a coherent ‘good, better, best’ format and will help stockists to upsell and enjoy greater margins,” she says.
