To support the sustainability centre the company is currently recruiting experienced installers in order to offer a complete installation package.

Operations director Ian Greenfield said: “We have created a renewable energy equipment demonstration area. Now, we are working towards providing additional installation training by qualified product specialists.

The centre includes a working source heat pump, a full mock up of a solar powered central heating system, a rainwater harvesting unit, water saving bathroom suites and showers, heat recovery ventilation systems and a roof system displaying the latest in sustainable insulation and roofing products.

“Deepings Trading is aiming to be a one-stop shop for sustainable construction needs including offering a cost effective supply and fit service that solves a lot of the confusing issues currently surrounding sustainability,” Greenfield says.

“We are committed to maintaining our position as a quality builders’ merchant which works in partnership with developers, subcontractors and tradesmen in South Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Rutland and surrounding areas to help them become more cost effective.”
