Builders merchant celebrates new branch with Superbike giveaway

Since May 2008 Buildbase has run a competition for its customers to win a powerful Ducati 848 Superbike. Anyone spending over £50 on BSW Timber products in 80 of Buildbase’s branches could enter. The winner, Andrew Wass of Wass Construction in Burbage, Hinckley, collected the 849cc, 132bhp bike which has a top speed of 165mph, and is worth £9,500.

Buildbase is proud sponsor of two Ducati Superbike riders and is also main sponsor of the Buildbase Coventry Bees speedway team. Bees’ rider ‘Bomber Harris’ visited the branch a few days’ ago to wish the business well.

Bailey Buildbase relocated to a new site in Newport Road, off Holbrook Way, and staged a fortnight of special promotions to mark the opening.

“The new site is bigger and better and our location means we are well placed to serve the local community. We are easy to reach and have improved the layout of the site with our customers in mind,” says branch manager Jim Aldridge.
