Independent builders merchant Huws Gray are collaborating with environmental website BuilderScrap to help builders cut waste.

The Reuse Road Shows will be run at Huws Gray branches throughout March. The first two were last Friday and yesterday.

The other dates are: Wednesday 10th March 2010 Huws Gray Burscough, Friday 12th March 2010 Huws Gray Moreton, Monday 15th March 2010 Huws Gray Wallasey, Wednesday 17th March 2010 Huws Gray Heswall, Friday 19th March 2010 Huws Gray Ellesmere Port, Monday 29th March 2010 Huws Gray Aintree, Wednesday 31st March 2010 Huws Gray Flint, Thursday 1st April 2010 Huws Gray Wrexham.

The construction industry disposes some £1.5bn of unused material each year according to WRAP Waste Resources Action Programme. BuilderScrap is a free to use website which allows builders to pass this surplus on to other builders, community groups and charities, and people with self-build or maintenance projects.
