Bristan keeps showers cool

Tap and shower manufacturer Bristan has launched two new exposed valve bar showers which keep the shower body itself cool to reduce the risk of bathroom scalds.

Cool Chrome Technology is available on the Zing and Frenzy stylish exposed valve bar showers. Thermostatically controlled, Zing and Frenzy also reduce the risk of thermal shock from hot or cold water, and limit the water temperature to 38ºC.

They are ideal for any household where there are children or vulnerable adults and are suitable for any type of water system and operate at high and low pressure.

Zing offers a 5.5l/m flow rate at 0.5 bar. It comes with easy-fit ‘Z’ connections and an all-chrome accessories kit with a single-mode rub-clean handset. Frenzy has a 4.6l/m flow rate at 0.2 bar and benefits from fast-fit connections. It too has an all-chrome accessories kit, and includes a rub-clean single mode handset.

Frenzy can also be purchased as a valve only and is ideal for retrofits with its 150mm fixing centres.

Frenzy also has an innovative eco-stop button, which can help users save up to 50 per cent of their shower water usage.

Both come with a five-year guarantee, as well as the backing of a technical support team and Bristancare, the company’s dedicated after care service.
