Independent builders merchant buying group NMBS has cancelled its April gala dinner and exhibition due to the coronovirus pandemic.

The NMBS Exhibition and Gala Dinner was due to take place on 21st & 22nd April 2020
The organisation said that, due to the ongoing focus to delay the spread of the Coronavirus, it took the decision to cancel the events.
A statement said: “We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and understand the huge benefit that attending the exhibition offered to our members and suppliers. We thank you for your continued support and understanding during these unprecedented times.”
At this stage (March 18) the NMBS Conference, scheduled for June 18-21 in Sorrento, Italy,NMBS, exhibitionis still going ahead. However, the organisation is monitoring the situation carefully as, with Italy currently in lockdown, no decisions can be made until the early part of April, when the lockdown is due to be lifted.
