Border has announced its latest CounterAct Software upgrade

Border Merchant Systems is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of software dedicated to timber, roofing, plumbing, ironmongers and builder merchants. Border has announced the release of the very latest developments to its powerful integrated CounterAct Software.

CounterAct is one of the most user-friendly software systems available in the market today.

The latest CounterAct releases (2-8C) highlights include a 360 Degree Overview that allows a user to look up and down a chain of related documents from several starting points eg: quotation to the final invoice.

Other features of the update include a new option to show stocked products first in a product search which applies to sales and orders, formal quotations and purchase order processing. Improvements have also been made to the product search and extract features. The distributed feature in CounterAct, that allows customer orders to be split over different orders and branches, has also been upgraded. 360 image cropped

Other enhancements to CounterAct include the addition of two new statuses for customer orders – ‘Newly Available Today’ and ‘New /Goods Unavailable’, these will help users to focus on actions that may be required to meet order requirements. Finally, Border has added an option to import XML files from the Synertec EDI offering.

Phil Davies, Commercial Manager at Border stated “Information is knowledge – and knowledge can help you run your business more efficiently. Our latest update shows how delivering powerful technical solutions can, for example, reduce costs, increase cash flow – and ultimately increase profit. All Border customers receive system updates as part of their support contract.”
