Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Distributor of hand and power tools Toolbank has become the newest member of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).
While exhibiting at Totally Tools, the hand and power tools showcase at the Ricoh Arena, this month, BMF MD John Newcomb took the opportunity to congratulate the federation’s latest member, which was named BHF Supplier of the Year at the show.
Commenting on joining the BMF, Simon Bicknell Toolbank’s group sales director said: “We are delighted to join so many of the leading merchants and groups working with the BMF in their goals of supporting, training and representing the interests of all those involved in the UK construction industry.”
The BMF were exhibiting at the show for the second successive year, signalling its intent to make the federation the “go to” trade body for every sector of the merchanting industry.
John Newcomb said: “We signalled the BMF’s desire to increase its presence in this important lightside sector when we exhibited here for the first time last year, so I am extremely pleased to welcome into membership one of Europe’s leading specialist distributors, and a company that is so well-regarded by merchants throughout the UK.”
