BMF welcomes another timber supplier into membership

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has welcomed trussed rafter supplier Pasquill into its membership, the latest company to join following the formation of the BMF Timber Forum.
In recent months, International Timber and Norbord have also joined the BMF, citing the Forum as one of the key reasons for their entry into the Federation.

Pasquill has 17 design centres and 10 manufacturing sites across the UK providing national coverage to customers of all sizes.

In addition to roof trusses, its product portfolio includes a full range of engineered timber solutions including I Joists, Posi-joistsTM, panelised roof systems, cassette floors, spandrel panels and Glulam. It is one of a family of companies that make up Saint-Gobain Building Distribution.

Ross Baxter, Pasquill’s general manager, said: “The company currently plays a leading role in its industry body, the Trussed Rafter Association, and we are looking forward to playing a full part in the BMF, particularly within the Timber Forum.”

BMF MD John Newcomb said: “I am delighted to welcome another timber specialist into membership. It demonstrates the industry’s need for a common forum dedicated to one of the most widely used building materials. I look forward to working with Pasquill as the BMF Timber Forum gathers momentum in the New Year.”
