BMF takes Honeywell into membership

Supplier of domestic heating and combustion controls, Honeywell, is the latest company to join the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).
Honeywell supplies products for domestic, industrial and commercial use which are used for time and temperature control of domestic and commercial heating systems, potable water filtration, flow control and temperature pressure and temperature control.

On joining the BMF, Honeywell’s national sales director, Martin Wilson, said that merchants are extremely important to the company.

“We can see the strenuous efforts made by the BMF to support this sector of the market and want to play our part in that,” said Wilson.

The trade association set up a specialist plumbing & heating sector in February 2014 in response to the growing number of plumbing and heating specialists coming into membership.

BMF managing director, John Newcomb, said he was delighted to welcome Honeywell to the Federation as a supplier member.

“I made it a personal mission to demonstrate the BMF’s relevance to the P&H sector and to build member numbers amongst both merchants and suppliers,” said Newcomb.

“The fact that Honeywell is keen to be part of that process is further endorsement that we have an important role to play in this sector.

“I look forward to seeing Honeywell at Members Day on 16th-17th September and at the next P&H sector meeting on the 27th November.”
