Highland Industrial Supplies Ltd became the 50th IBC member to join the BMF since the federation agreed its first group membership scheme with IBC six months ago.

The buying group bid £1,000 for the iconic jersey in an auction of rugby memorabilia to raise funds for the Rainy Day Trust. In total, the BMF auction raised over £4,000 for the charity.

IBC managing director, Paul Read, said: “We are proud to support the Rainy Day Trust in this way, and also delighted that our members are taking the opportunity to play a full part in the BMF and reap the benefits.”

BMF managing director, John Newcomb, said: “I’d like to welcome Highland Industrial Supplies Ltd to the BMF along with over 100 other new members who have joined the Federation in the last 18 months. We are now engaging with merchants and suppliers of every size and from every sector of the industry and together we can make the industry stronger and ensure that our voice is heard.”
