The BMF’s Product Support Strategy has gained the backing of Local Authority Building Control (LABC).
The program is designed to train staff in builders merchants about the right materials to use for each job in order to comply with Building Regulations.
The first ‘Selling Guides’ to feature the LABC logo include WC flushing siphons, fire doors and packed white cement.
LABC national director of business development Philip Hammond said, “We believe that the Building Regulations can be demystified and explained in a way that is easily understood by anyone working in the industry.
“The BMF’s selling guides are really good examples of straightforward information that will help staff at all levels.”
