BMF and TTF strike membership deal

The Builders Merchant Federation and the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) have struck a reciprocal membership deal in which members of both organisations can receive special discounts.
The BMF is offering a 10% discount on its current subscription year membership to any TTF member who wishes to join them between September 1 2013 and March 31 2014. In return, any BMF member who wants join the TTF will also receive the same discount offer during the promotional period.

BMF managing director, John Newcomb, said: “This is the first promotional partnership between our two industry associations, and reflects the mutual respect that each has for the other. Together the two organisations provide a wide range of complementary services for companies involved in the timber supply chain who will undoubtedly benefit from dual membership.”

TTF chief executive, John White, said he was “delighted to join the BMF in this promotion” and added that he hoped the promotion will “demonstrate the benefits of dual membership”.
