A management buyout has been completed at the profiles and doors business of BLP, the suppliers of wrapped MDF mouldings, cabinet doors, membrane pressed cabinet doors, veeners and flexible panels.
The Kirk Sandall-based company called in the administrators last month.
The management involved are managing director Bridie Warner-Adsetts and finance director Andrew Thorpe and the new company keeps the BLP name as BLP Furniture Components Limited.
Warner-Adsetts said: “It is testament to the goodwill of our customers, suppliers and employees that the business has traded through administration to a successful outcome with little or no disruption to customers.”
Equity and funding for the deal was provided by South Yorkshire Investment Fund and Centric Commercial Finance.
