Benchmarx opens 150th branch

Travis Perkins Group kitchen and joinery supplier, Benchmarx, has opened it’s 150th branch, and to celebrate the milestone the company held an opening day.
Celebrations at the branch in Wokingham, Berkshire, started with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and 150 balloons were released – one carrying a tag offering a free AEG coffee machine to whoever finds it.

Kenny Devlin, regional director, said: “We are proud to have reached this important milestone for the business.

“It’s a testament to the company’s dedication to product delivery, service, and the success we have had over the past couple of years that has led to us opening our 150th branch.

“This is no mean feat, having expanded from some 80 or so branches in 2013 to now 150 and counting. ”

Tracy Tandy, branch manager, added: “I joined the business a short while ago with the aim of setting up this new branch and as a team, we are extremely proud of what we have achieved to date.

“We’ve had a great response from local trademen already, and the team is busy fulfilling orders for customers in the area.”
