Benchmark drives through Bredbury branch

Builders’ merchant Benchmark Building Supplies is to open a new branch in Bredbury, near Stockport, with a drive-through service for customers.

The branch, which opens  on Monday ( August 24), s on a 35,000 square foot site and will allow customers to drive their vehicles directly through the warehouse to load up materials.

A one-way system has also been implemented and the layout of the yard is designed to be as efficient as possible to ensure customers are not away from their sites longer than they need to be.

The expanded product range will include an indoor stored timber range and a new landscaping display to showcase block paving, Indian Stone and Porcelain as well as composite decking, artificial grass and more.

A new kitchen display area has also been installed and a kitchen specialist has joined the team to help promote and provide advice on the branch’s fantastic range of high-quality kitchens.

Tom Arrundale, general manager at the branch, said: “We are really excited about opening the Benchmark Bredbury branch. Our customers are at the heart of what we do, and we have planned the branch with both the trade and retail in mind – enhancing the service and experience we have to offer based on the direct feedback we have received.

“From the increased product range to the internal kitchen and landscape displays, Benchmark Bredbury really is something special.”

Benchmark, which was bought by Saint Gobain in 2016, has branches in Ashton Under Lyne, Bolton, Marple, Mossley, Irlam and Romiley branches within the Benchmark Building Supplies North West regional network.
