While much of the rest of the country was watching the Royal Wedding, Beatsons’ finance director Mark Northway was cycling over 111 miles round each of the company’s branches in one day.

The branches are in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline & Penicuik.

Northway said: “We are delighted to support the excellent work that CHAS does. My efforts on the cycle pale into insignificance when you see the work and commitment that the volunteers and staff at CHAS do on a daily basis.”
