Baxi mans the phones for Sport Relief

The team of volunteers worked through the night to take public donations at their Customer Support Centre in Warwick – an official Sport Relief call centre – for the campaign’s ‘Night of TV’ on Friday March 18.

The additional man power meant that donations could be taken quicker, adding to the current Sport Relief total of over £55 million.

All money raised by Sports Relief goes towards giving vulnerable and disadvantaged people help in the UK and the world’s poorest communities.

Lee Robinson, Baxi UK customer service director said: “We are very proud to have been chosen as one of the official Sport Relief call centres again this year, there was a great atmosphere all evening and it is amazing that colleagues from across the UK gave up their time to come to Warwick and take donations for this very worthwhile charity.”
