Barretine supports Rainy Day Trust

Paint and chemical company Barrettine has signed up for the Rainy Day Trust’s Partnership scheme.
The Rainy Day Trust is the only charity specifically serving the needs of home improvement industry. Through annual pensions and one-off grants, it assists people who have spent a significant part of their working lives in the industry and who now find they need a helping hand. Since 2003, the Trust has given away more than £1m – nearly all of it raised through the generosity of companies like Barrettine.

“When we heard about the Partnership scheme, it just seemed the right thing to do for us to sign up,” said Phill Gibbins – Sales Director. “We’re very happy that by becoming a Partner, we’re making a difference to ex-industry employees who need our help. We will certainly be encouraging other companies to do likewise.”

Annual membership of the RDT Partner scheme costs £1,000, and delivers a package of publicity benefits.
