Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Ideal Standard International, the manufacturer of bathroom and washroom solutions, has appointed David Barber as UK and Ireland managing director.
Barber joined the company in 2006, most recently serving as UK finance director. He takes over from Stephen Ewer who is leaving the business after more than two years.
Jan Peter Tewes, Ideal Standard Chief Commercial Officer, says: “David has been part of the Ideal Standard family for over 14 years. His in-depth knowledge of the business will be vital as we navigate the current, unprecedented situation and his strong leadership at this time will be key to ensuring our future success.
