Assistant stole from plumbers merchant

An assistant at a branch of Plumb Center has admitted stealing from the Wolseley UK owned company.
David Moules worked on the trade counter at Plumb Center in Chippenham and stole products, selling them on to customers in the car park for cash.

As a result of losses over a number of years at the Chippenham branch the company installed covert CCTV which found a number of employees were stealing.

Moules pleaded guilty to theft and admitted taking goods worth £1,300.

Judge Douglas Field imposed a 12 month community order and told him to do 120 hours of community service and pay £600 compensation.

Two others are due to appear at hearings to determine how much stock they stole.
