Altecnic, supplier of hydronic solutions and part of the Caleffi Group, has promoted Simon Grocott to the role of Operations Director for the business. This promotion reflects Altecnic’s ethos to further develop the company’s people and services to ensure the company is well placed to deliver its continued growth and serve its existing customers.
Prior to his promotion, Grocott has been serving as Operations Manager for the Company which involves working with all departments to help the business develop and grow through improved business efficiency and the use of technology. He will be continuing to focus on this area in his new role, as well as looking for new ways that Altecnic can support the needs and future needs of their growing customer base. This September will mark Grocott’s sixteen-year anniversary with the company.
He was amongst the team involved in facilitating the company’s relocation to their current premises in 2009. This saw Altecnic close the business on a Friday and reopen ready for business at the new location the following Monday, which was a fantastic achievement for the company.
Grocott comments: “I am delighted to have been promoted to Operations Director for Altecnic. Over my sixteen years with the company, I have been focused on developing and growing the business through the use of technology in order to meet the needs of our customers. I look forward to continuing to build on this strategy in my new role.”
