Alsford Timber supports children’s hospice

Timber merchant Alsford Timber is to support a local children’s hospice, Demelza, by joining in with the charity GO DOTTY campaign during National Children’s Hospice Week from Friday 18th May to Friday 25th May.
Between Monday 21st and Friday 25th May, the company will be holding events such as a cake sale, games, raffles and a dress dotty day.

Staff and customers also have the opportunity to SPONSOR A DOT on an Alsford lorry. For a minimum donation of £5, they can have their name, that of a loved one or even a pet on a dot. Customers can also support a dot for at least £5. The deadline for printing the names will be Monday 14th May.

Branches will get involved too – holding their own cake and tea sales for customers, selling Demelza wristbands for £1 during that week.

Also, the week before this, some of the Ness Road staff are due to climb Mount Snowdon and complete a triathlon all to help the charity.

The company is asking anyone who wishes to support the events, to visit http://www.justgiving.com/user/29076749

Demelza is a charity that provides hospice care for children. The charity provides specialist care to children and young people who are unlikely to reach adulthood.
