ACO visualises drainage help for merchants

ACO Building + Landscape has launched a new visualiser tool, to help domestic contractors and homeowners select the best product to complement their patio, driveway or building threshold.

The tool will help merchants to up-sell drainage solutions a it gives customers the opportunity to envisage the impact a grating will have on their landscaping project and trial different designs before point of sale.

Another benefit of the software is that it will also ensure that the correct product and appropriate load class is specified for each application. Housed on the ACO website, the software is easy to use and helps to ease pressure for merchants. Once the user has selected a product they are happy with, they can download a specification sheet which can be taken to their local builder’s merchant.

It incorporates all the latest drainage systems by ACO – catering for a variety of domestic landscaped areas such as patios, driveways and both garage and doorway thresholds.

Phil Windus, market manager – Building + Landscape, says: “Garden and landscape design has always been an important aspect of our business and we believe that drainage can play a hugely important role in the overall look and feel of a domestic project. Typically, little consideration is given for the style and surface finish of the grating but we hope the Visualiser will transform the way people think about drainage systems in future, while offering merchants the chance to gain that all important extra profit margin.

Visualiser Group 1

“It’s often difficult to imagine the impact drainage can have on a project, unless you can physically see it, but with the Visualiser merchants will be able to demonstrate how different products can complement or enhance a project at the click of a button. The Visualiser aims to make life easier for merchants and provide extra support when completing a sale. It will help bring ideas to life and ensure the correct product is installed which will also reduce customer enquiries and complaints going forward. We hope that merchants can embrace the Visualiser and encourage their customer to be more creative with drainage.”

The new Building + Landscape catalogue can be used to direct installers to the Visualiser software. The new catalogue is aimed at homeowners and will support installer’s selling products and increasing profit margin.

ACO’s Building + Landscape Visualiser is now available on the ACO website, for more information please visit: www.aco.co.uk/building-landscape-visualiser/.
